Kaveri Nambisan’s book shorlisted for Man Asian Prize

Kaveri Nambisan’s The Story That Must not Be Told has been shortlisted for the 2008 Man Asian Literary Prize . Kaveri Nambisan was one of our participants at the English workshop ‘Animated Stardust’ (11-13 January,2001) held in Delhi and the National Colloquium (July, 2001) in Hyderabad.

Published by Penguin India, The Story Must not Be Told is the story of an ageing widower Simon Jesukumar, who lives in a housing colony in Madras, and his tryst with the slum next to his house.


Nambisan has written several critically acclaimed novels - Mango Coloured Fish, The Scent  of Pepper, The Hills of Angheri, The Truth (Almost) About Bharat and On Wings of Butterflies.
